Sidro's Armada was formed by brothers  Ray, Sal and Sidro Garcia along with Willie Sisneros and Al Zepeda.  Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, they first appeared in Las Vegas with Sue Thompson.  After Adding Beverlee Brown to the lineup, they toured California where Dick Lane, the entertainment director of Harrahs Lake Tahoe signed them to perform alongside headliners, Louis Prima, Billie Eckstein, Jim Nabors and Barbara Eden.  Throughout the 70's and 80's, they toured the USA, Canada, the Virgin Islands and the Armada continued to sail.

The late 70's and 80's brought Sidro's Armada into the studio for CBS records  in Canada and A&M records in Los Angeles with songs composed by Sidro and sung with unequalled passion by Sidro Garcia and Beverlee Brown.

Through it all, the band consistently remained a top draw in Las Vegas lounges when the lounges had real shows.  They were voted top lounge act several times over.  They were the first to play Rock and Roll and Country Music in the lounges and before long their powder blue tuxedos  were replaced with costumes that mirrored the world of Rock and Roll and Country.   In fact, they were also voted best dressed Lounge group over and over. 

In 2011, they were inducted into the "Las Vegas Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" 

Today,  Sidro  Garcia is still manning the helm of Sidro's Armada and continues to perform with singer, Mary Ball.   Sidro  is currently writing and recording with former Armada musician, Cliff Fields, and they are publishing their songs into their own company called Ben Claw Publishing
